Since , I've curated and co-hosted the Village Voice, a bi-monthly segment on WGBH Boston Public Radio featuring poems that speak to current events, sociopolitical issues, and other timely topics. Each episode prompts conversations that explore our times and our lives in a more nuanced, human-centered way through the lens of poetry. A new episode of "The Village Voice" - my monthly segment with WGBH Boston Public Radio - is available for listening! Outrage At Blanco (Ellie Taine, book 1) by Bill Crider - book cover, description, publication history. When Ellie Taine set out home from Blanco, Texas with a wagonload of supplies, she was expecting nothing more than a long and dusty ride. In there were no real conveniences, especially outside of town. Turns out she’s about to be a little bit of frosting on the cake for a couple of psychopathic bank robbers headed in to clean out the bank.

For those new to Bruen, this is a great place to start, if probably a divisive book. I suspect you'd either love his style or hate it. But you won't read anything like it. ALSO POLISHED OFF: Outrage At Blanco by Bill Crider. I really wish crime fiction fans would give more westerns a try.   Bill Crider -- the complete book list.
