    The social environment is an influential factor with regards to drug addiction. However, some people living in the same environment become drug users, whilst others resist. Is this difference just. Adult Children of Alcoholics is not a general self help book. Coming from an emotionally abusive but non-alcoholic family, I was somewhat disappointed that its advice was so specific to alcoholic families.
